Ok.. I don't really deal with voice acting...

But I thought I'd throw in my opinion.. The singing itself was decent, even though you are talking (to practice your voice). As I'm hearing, I believe you got most of the pitches down, and the song you picked was a very good pick for it. So, saying all I really can about this... I think you did pretty good :) I someone was to vote below a three on this, it would be clearly unnecessary. From me, you get 5/5 and 10/10. Best of luck to you =D.

Thanks man, nice to hear.

Awful

Ok, this definitely isn't better then the original, sorry to break that to you.. but ignoring that fact, I'll judge it on what you have here... Most of the vocals are just.. horrible in my opinion... but other then that I suppose most of it is ok.. but that's because all it really is is singing over the original, I'll give you guys a 1 on this one.

I love it

Soto had not idea what he was talking about... Yes, other songs may have been made around the original version, and may have been more towards his "likings".. But this one was very original, yet unique. I give you props.. very nice =D

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

Well everyone's entitled to their opinion
I dunno, now that I look back on it (from over two years ago),
I was a newbie who made that as a Christmas gift.
Of course now that I'm much more experienced, I could do a way better job.

Thanks for the props yo

Wow.

I like this, the beginning piano is very nice, despite how simple it is. It just has a wonderful atmosphere and creates a good solid foundation for the rest of the ensemble to build on. I do like the piano, but I think it could use some more work. Some more harmonies and counter melodies in the piano would be lovely. Maybe if you got a little bit more in the lower-mid register it would fill out the piano sound a bit better. Now, when the rest of the song kicks in at 1:25 it sounds a little crazy, but it fits. I think that the beat could be a little less "powerful" but that's all ok. The song sounds like one whole cohesive piece really, and that means the mastering was pretty well done on this. I like how it comes full circle in the end.

10/10 overall. Just some minor tweaking and composition work here and there to get this just right.

ChampionAnwar responds:

Thank you for the very in-depth review :D The breakdown was a sort of shock thing hehe, though my collab partner wasn't so sure about it either. Your comments and critisisms will be taken into account and I'll work on what I can :)

Hmmm

Lol, Acid that sounded nothing like Benassi :) It was much more dull and deep-toned. Although, the sound you used was very nice. The fade into the other beat and back out wasn't too great.. but not bad. The song itself seems to be too much "blurred". It's like walking through fog, trying to find your way to nothing. The sound that comes in after a while is very nice, but too faded out. I believe all this song needs is a bit more EQing and mastering. 3/5 6/10

Thanks for the review, I'll definitely be working on mastering it better next time.

I'm going to have to disagree with Helth.

Generic genres are getting more enhanced these days.. Most people would have to make a house beat and place some epic pads over it to make it the common song now. I believe it does though, sound as if a new producer made it.. but not exactly. The "fading" in and out with the synths was very "unique". Also, it's not as "immature" as a bad artist. I hope you're still with me here.. Now, using Helth's scoring thinger down there.. I'm going to have to say.

Beat 9/10 (Not complex, but not bad.)
Melody 10/10 (Melodies are always unique in their own way. Perfect Sound)
Creativity 10/10 (You can't really have much creativity for remixes, so max)
Mastering 10/10 (I think it sounds good, nothing wrong here.)
Breaks 9/10 (Agreed.)

Star Total - 9.6 (Rounded to nearest whole number = 10)
Vote Total - 9.6/2 = 4.8 (Rounding up to a 5)

Airprogressive responds:

thank u very much 4 review and ratings!

Hmm.

First of all, this is definitely worth a 5/5 and a 10/10.. but it MAY need a little mastering done.. then again newgrounds audio portal makes the songs a little louder ;) This also shouldn't have a 3.83... so I'm changing that ;) I like it man.. it's beautiful.

4.04 / 5.00 (+ 0.21)

Ethril responds:

I hear you about the mastering... and I've done so, but unfortunately that pumped up the total file size up over 8MB... so this was the best option. But I thank you for your vote! Glad to have another listener ~

Very Nice

I loved every aspect of the song.. nothing more to say. Loved it <3 (NO HOMO)

ElectricalBypass responds:

Heehee :D

OK... NOW THAT'S JUST.. WOW

I absolutely hate the word, but this song is EPIC. I have no idea how you made it sound so realistic.. the voice is amazing, the drums are also so amazing ;) The piano stands out, everything about it is soo.. life. You can make a lot of stories out of this song.. You're becoming pro my friend :P I literally felt as if i was in "Polaris" (wherever that is). But i felt as if i were in the middle of an indian gathering.. as they danced around under a hut in the rain. The song was amazing man. 5/5 10/10 Faved Downloaded Loved. Keep up the good work.

Helth responds:

Hahaha thanks so much man! Polaris is a star - the north star that u can see at night. Thanks so much for your support dude!

Remember that it was a collab ;)

Still, nice review - thanks alot!
